Where Alignment Is Lost
The Ten Deviations
In Akaric understanding, sin is khata—to miss the mark. A disconnection from the Source. A gateway astray.
Sin is dissonance. A distortion of energy that creates separation between the soul and the Divine. When you deviate from alignment, you weaken your own light.
To maintain alignment and keep the soul bright, recognize these ten weights—not to condemn yourself, but to reclaim your freedom. Awareness is the first step to transformation.
Violence
The destruction or abuse of sacred life. A direct assault on the divine spark.
Deception
The warping of truth to gain unearned advantage. A poisoning of reality itself.
Theft
The seizure of energy, time, or property that is not yours. Taking what belongs to another.
Betrayal
The breaking of sacred covenants and loyalty. A wound to trust itself.
Oppression
The use of power to enslave or manipulate the will of another. Enslaving the free.
Gossip
The poisoning of the collective mental atmosphere with falsehoods. Contaminating the collective field.
Arrogance
The delusion that the ego is higher than the Source. The illusion of separation made solid.
Stagnation
The refusal to grow or the squandering of divine potential. Burying the gifts given.
Intemperance
Allowing impulses (addiction, lust, hunger) to rule the mind. Enslaving yourself to desire.
Apathy
Seeing suffering or injustice and choosing to do nothing. The abandonment of compassion.
The Return
Sin is a disconnection from your source. The moment you recognize a deviation, you have already begun to return. Repentance is realignment — choosing the Light again.
"The soul can always return home. No deviation is permanent. No weight too heavy to release. The Source awaits your return with infinite patience."
