The darkness before the dawn is always the darkest. The dawn itself is determined by what the people living in the darkness choose to do with it.

The remaining span of the dark age runs its full course. The light does not go out. God does not abandon the Kosmos. But the turning humanity could have made in this generation becomes a turning made in a time beyond what any soul currently living will see.
