The Contact Canon
WHO AND WHAT IS ACTUALLY OUT THERE
So no one worships an alien, and no one calls a good one a demon.
Humanity is not alone, and it never was. What has confused every generation is not the existence of other beings but the failure to tell them apart.
Two errors do nearly all the damage. The first is worship: a being arrives with technology, longevity or telepathy, and a human mind reaches for the word God. The second is condemnation: a being arrives that is simply not human, and a human mind reaches for the word demon.
Both errors come from the same failure. Power was mistaken for holiness, and strangeness was mistaken for evil.
The Celestial Canon already fixed the ancient half of this. There are ten orders of being, and four axes that must never be collapsed: order is not office, office is not alignment, alignment is not spiritual state. A Watcher who kept the boundary is not a fallen Watcher. An archon is not a demon by definition. A jinn is not an angel and is not automatically evil.
The Contact Canon applies that same discipline to what is being encountered now — the craft, the occupants, the abduction corpus, the whistleblower testimony, the released files, and the beings the ancient world already named.
Nothing here is worshipped. Nothing here is condemned for being unfamiliar. Every entry is sorted by what it is, and then measured by what it does.
The Four Axes, Applied to Contact
Every entry below is placed on four separate questions. Collapse any two and the whole taxonomy fails.
Order — What kind of being is it?
Biological species, created spiritual order, celestial intelligence, disembodied spirit, or human. This is the question almost everyone skips.
Office — What function does it hold?
Steward, administrator, teacher, guardian, messenger, ruler, harvester, observer. Office is a job, not a nature.
Alignment — Whose side is it on?
Aligned with the Light, corrupted, adversarial, or self-serving and neutral. Earned by conduct, never inherited from species.
State — What is its spiritual condition?
Luminous, developing, fractured, parasitic. Longevity, power and advanced technology say nothing about this.
The Categories That Must Never Merge
Alien is not a spiritual category. It means non-terrestrial, or non-human. It says nothing about whether a being is good, evil, embodied, spiritual, ancient or created.
A biological species from elsewhere is not a demon. A demon is not a species at all.
Jinn are their own created order with moral agency — some good, some evil, and neither angels nor automatic demons.
Angels are beings of Light and their own order. Humans do not become angels. A human Soul can become extraordinarily luminous and can rise into heavenly conditions without ever changing order.
Demons are corruption — adversarial disembodied spirit, spiritual disease, not biology. A demon has no homeworld and no craft.
The Anunnaki are the ancient celestial world Mesopotamia remembered, not a species of space traveller from a planet.
And a great many encounters are none of the above: human black programs, sleep paralysis, drone technology, misidentification, psychiatric illness, or deliberate deception. Naming those honestly is what makes the rest credible.
Biological non-human species
Embodied beings. Mortal, technological, morally mixed — and never to be worshipped, whatever they arrive in.
The Ariani
Nordics · Pleiadians · Tall Blonds
What the record actually says
Human-appearing, tall, fair, described from the earliest modern contact era onward — Adamski's 1950s accounts, the European contact corpus, and a very large abductee and experiencer literature. The consistent report is calm demeanour, telepathic speech, warnings about weaponry and ecological ruin, and an unwillingness to intervene by force.
What it is
A biological humanoid species, closely enough related in form to be mistaken for human, operating under something like a non-interference discipline. Frequently benevolent in conduct and frequently over-trusted because of it.
Confused with
With angels, ascended masters, and God. The appearance is luminous and the message is often moral — which is exactly why the guard matters most here.
The test
A being that accepts worship, offers itself as your source, or asks for surrender of your will is disqualified regardless of how beautiful it is. The genuinely aligned refuse worship.
The Grays
Small Grays · Zeta type · Workers
What the record actually says
The most reported occupant type on Earth. Small, thin, grey-skinned, enormous black eyes, no discernible individuality, associated overwhelmingly with the abduction and medical-procedure corpus — from the Hill case of 1961 through decades of independently gathered testimony with startling detail agreement.
What it is
Functionaries. The behaviour pattern is not that of a civilization meeting a civilization; it is that of workers executing a program — collection, examination, genetic interest, memory suppression. Many are best understood as biological servitors rather than a sovereign people.
Confused with
With demons, because the encounter is terrifying and violates consent. The terror is real and the violation is real. That still does not make them disembodied evil spirits.
The test
Judge the program, not the face. Procedures conducted on unwilling human beings are a violation whether the hand doing it is grey or human. Fear is not evidence of the spiritual category — it is evidence of the consent breach.
The Tall Grays
Supervisors · the ones the small ones defer to
What the record actually says
Reported repeatedly as taller, thinner, plainly in authority over the small type, present as directing presence rather than as hands-on operator, and far more capable of sustained mental contact and manipulation of perception.
What it is
The command layer of the same program. Where the small type carries out, the tall type decides — which places the moral weight of the entire abduction phenomenon here rather than on the workers.
Confused with
With celestial beings, because of the authority they project and their capacity to manufacture reverence in a witness.
The test
Manufactured awe is a technique. A being that must induce your reverence does not deserve it.
The Tall Whites
The Nevada type
What the record actually says
Described in detail by Charles Hall, a United States Air Force weather observer at Nellis in the 1960s, in a sustained first-person account of ongoing contact under military accommodation: very tall, pale, blue-eyed, extremely long-lived, sharply hierarchical, easily provoked, and openly contemptuous of human beings they considered ill-mannered.
What it is
A distinct biological species, neither benevolent nor adversarial as a people — proud, hierarchical, transactional, and dangerous to those who forget it. The importance of this entry is that it breaks the good-alien/evil-alien binary entirely.
Confused with
With the Ariani, on appearance. They are not the same and they do not behave the same.
The test
Neither category. Deal with a proud species exactly as you would deal with a proud nation: honestly, carefully, and without either worship or hatred.
The Draco
Winged reptilian · the tall ones with the ridge
What the record actually says
Reported as very large, powerfully built, crested or winged reptilian beings, invariably in a position of command, associated in the experiencer corpus with dominion, fear-induction, blood and hierarchy, and with claimed long-standing arrangements with human power structures.
What it is
Where the biological record and the adversarial record genuinely converge. Akari does not identify the Draco as demons — they are described as embodied beings — but their reported conduct is adversarial alignment: dominion, predation, the harvesting of fear, and the treatment of humanity as livestock.
Confused with
With Satan and with the Adversary himself. The Adversary is not a reptile, and no biological species is the source of evil. A species can serve the pattern without being its origin.
The test
Predation, fear-farming and the claim of ownership over human beings identify the alignment. Alignment is enough to name the enemy; species never was.
The Reptilians
Saurian humanoids · the Draco's lesser ranks
What the record actually says
A broad reported class of scaled humanoid beings below the Draco in the accounts — soldiers, guards, operators — appearing in the abduction corpus, in underground-facility claims, and in a very old global mythology of serpent people.
What it is
A biological order, and one that must not be condemned wholesale. Some accounts describe indifference, some describe hostility, and some describe cooperation. Reptilian is a body plan. It is not a verdict.
Confused with
With serpents in scripture and therefore with Satan by association. That association is a visual pun, not a theology.
The test
The same test as any other order: does it respect autonomy, or does it feed on you?
The Mantids
Insectoids · the praying-mantis beings
What the record actually says
Tall, thin, insect-formed beings with large angled eyes, reported consistently as observers, overseers or examiners standing behind the Gray procedures — and reported unusually often as gentle, sorrowful or reassuring toward the human being on the table, which is one of the strangest and most persistent features of the whole corpus.
What it is
A distinct biological order holding what appears to be a supervisory or scientific office, and the clearest case in the entire canon of a being that looks monstrous to human instinct while behaving with apparent care. Whether that care is genuine or managerial is not settled.
Confused with
With demons, purely on appearance. Insect form triggers human revulsion faster than almost anything else, and revulsion is not discernment.
The test
A being is measured by conduct, never by the shape of its face. Akari judges alignment, never category.
Cryptoterrestrials
The ones already here · subterranean and undersea
What the record actually says
A serious modern proposal — argued in the peer-reviewed literature and echoed in a long folk record of underground peoples — that some non-human intelligence is native to Earth rather than arriving from elsewhere: subterranean, undersea, or simply older than us. Underwater craft transits reported by naval personnel belong to this discussion.
What it is
Genuinely unresolved, and left unresolved deliberately. If some of what is called extraterrestrial is instead terrestrial and older, most of the contact literature has been misfiled — and that possibility is more interesting than a false certainty.
Confused with
With the demonic underworld, because the word underground does theological work it has not earned.
The test
Below is a direction. It is not a moral coordinate.
The Biologics
Recovered non-human occupants · the crash-retrieval bodies
What the record actually says
In sworn Congressional testimony in July 2023, former intelligence official David Grusch stated under oath that the United States operates a crash-retrieval and reverse-engineering program and that "non-human biologics" were recovered with craft. Pilot testimony from Ryan Graves and David Fravor entered the same record. The Pentagon has denied the retrieval claims; the testimony stands sworn and unretracted.
What it is
The single most important entry for grading purposes, because it is testimony under oath before a legislature rather than a channelled message. It establishes that non-human embodied beings are treated as physical, mortal and recoverable — which is precisely what a spirit is not.
Confused with
With the spiritual orders. A body that can crash and be recovered is biology. This entry is the line between the two halves of the canon.
The test
Mortality is the tell. What can die in a vehicle was never a god.
The ancient celestial world
Not a species from a planet. The beings the first civilizations dealt with face to face, before the withdrawal.
The Anunnaki
Those of princely blood · the ancient ones of Sumer
What the record actually says
Mesopotamia's records describe a divine assembly of high beings governing early human civilization directly — Anu, Enlil, Enki and their order — with kingship "lowered from heaven," law, agriculture, writing and city-building presented as transmitted rather than invented. Sumerian and Akkadian art depicts them as dark-haired and dark-skinned in the manner of the peoples who recorded them.
What it is
Ancient high celestial beings of the Earth-facing order, remembered by the civilization closest to them. They are not extraterrestrial colonists in the modern sense and they are not gods. They held offices in a celestial administration that stood far nearer to humanity than anything does now, and that proximity is exactly what had to end.
Confused with
With God, first and most catastrophically — the founding error of the ancient world was mistaking a ruler inside creation for the Source of creation. Then with modern grey-alien mythology, which is a category error running the other way.
The test
Any being that occupies a seat within creation and accepts worship as the Source has committed the original error, whatever its age or power.
The Watchers
The Earth-facing office · the fallen faction of Hermon
What the record actually says
The Enochic literature describes an order assigned to observe and steward Earth, and one faction that crossed the boundary — taking human wives, transmitting metallurgy, weaponry, cosmetics, sorcery and astrology, and fathering the Nephilim — followed by judgment and binding.
What it is
An office, not a species, and only one faction fell. The fall was not curiosity; it was stewardship violated and knowledge delivered to beings without the moral development to carry it. The rest of the order kept the boundary and is not condemned with them.
Confused with
With aliens, and with demons. Fallen Watchers are fallen celestial beings; the giant spirits their offspring left behind are a different order again.
The test
Knowledge offered without the discipline to hold it is the Watcher signature — and it looks exactly like generosity while it is happening.
Giant Spirits
The spirits of the Nephilim
What the record actually says
The Enochic tradition holds that when the hybrid Nephilim died, their spirits remained on Earth, disembodied and restless — and identifies them as a major source of what later traditions simply call evil spirits.
What it is
Ontologically distinct from their Watcher fathers and from demons proper. Disembodied, hungry, bound to Earth, and seeking embodiment because they lost theirs.
Confused with
With aliens and with demons in one careless breath. They are neither: not biological, and not the original corruption.
The test
A spirit that craves a body was once in one.
Created spiritual orders
Not biology. No craft, no homeworld, no mortality of the kind that crashes in a desert.
The Jinn
The hidden ones
What the record actually says
The Qur'an and the wider Islamic tradition establish the jinn as a created order with genuine moral agency — made of smokeless fire, living alongside humanity mostly unseen, capable of belief and unbelief. Some are righteous. Some are corrupt. They are judged like us.
What it is
Their own created order, and one of the most consistently misfiled beings in the world. A very large portion of what modern contact literature calls alien — the shapeshifting, the appearance and disappearance, the trickery, the intimate knowledge of a particular household, the trance-work at séances — sits far more comfortably here.
Confused with
With angels, with demons, and with extraterrestrials. Jinn are none of the three. A corrupt jinn behaves demonically without being a demon, which is why the distinction is worth defending.
The test
Deception, mimicry, boundary-testing and intense interest in being invited are the jinn signature. And the guard is absolute: do not invite what you cannot see.
Angels
Beings of Light · the messengers
What the record actually says
Present across Judaism, Christianity, Islam and their parallels elsewhere as a distinct created order of Light: messengers, guardians and servants of the Most High, appearing to human beings without ever soliciting worship, and consistently refusing it when offered.
What it is
Their own order, beings of Light, and never humanity's destination. Humans do not become angels. A human Soul can become extraordinarily luminous, can rise into heavenly conditions, and remains a human Soul while doing it. Different creation does not mean unequal sacred worth.
Confused with
With aliens — the "beings of light" language in contact accounts borrows angelic vocabulary constantly — and with the beloved dead, who are not angels either.
The test
A true messenger points away from itself, toward the Most High, and refuses worship. Anything that accepts the worship is not what it is dressed as.
Demons
Disembodied evil spirit · spiritual disease
What the record actually says
Named across the traditions as corrupted, adversarial spirit: tempting, oppressing, attaching, driving toward self-destruction, and operating through consent, repetition and attention rather than through force.
What it is
Not a species. Not biology. Not from anywhere. A demon has no homeworld, no craft and no body — it is corruption itself, disembodied and adversarial, and its whole method is to get itself invited and then to hide behind whatever is nearby, including a genuine biological encounter.
Confused with
With every non-human thing there is. This single collapse — non-human therefore demon — has done more damage to human discernment than any other error in the canon.
The test
Demons deceive, degrade, isolate and demand. They do not build craft, they do not bleed, and they cannot be recovered from a crash site. And the boundary must be held with equal firmness on the other side: exhaustion, trauma, chemistry, addiction and psychiatric illness are not demons, and treating them as such causes real harm to real people.
Plasmoids
Orbs · plasma forms · light beings
What the record actually says
Self-luminous spheres and plasma-like forms constitute a large share of modern sightings, including military footage, and they behave unlike vehicles — appearing, dividing, merging, moving without inertia, and reacting to observation. Some researchers argue for an atmospheric or plasma life-form; others read them as probes; others as spirit manifestation.
What it is
Deliberately left open, and split. Some are technology. Some are a genuine plasma-state order of being. Some are spirit manifesting where the eye can see it. Anyone claiming to know which is which in every case is guessing.
Confused with
With angels, on the strength of glow alone. Light is not proof of Light.
The test
Luminosity is not holiness. Ask what it wants, and whether it will leave when told to.
Human, and misfiled
The entries that keep the rest of the canon honest. A great deal of contact is not contact.
Human Programs
Black projects · MILAB · the men in dark suits
What the record actually says
Declassified history establishes a long institutional practice of deception, cover story, and experimentation on unwitting human subjects — and the modern record establishes official UAP programs, retrieval claims and decades of denial. Some abduction accounts contain human personnel, human vehicles and human facilities.
What it is
A portion of what is reported as non-human is human: technology, intimidation, staged encounters, and the exploitation of a witness who cannot tell the difference. Naming this plainly is not scepticism. It is what makes the non-human entries defensible.
Confused with
Deliberately. Confusion is the product being manufactured.
The test
Where an encounter involves human faces, human machinery, human documents and human threats, start with human beings.
Channelled Sources
Blue Avians · space brothers · ascended contacts
What the record actually says
A large modern body of material arriving through channelling, downloads and single-source claims — flattering, cosmically framed, and typically promising the listener chosenness, imminent rescue or a coming harvest of the worthy.
What it is
Graded low, on purpose. Not dismissed as impossible; refused as evidence. The content is generally unverifiable, the structure is identical to spiritual flattery, and it consistently produces hierarchy, dependence and a teacher who holds the answers — which is the pattern the Adversary uses on every genuine movement of Light.
Confused with
With revelation. Rescue promised to the special few, delivered through one gatekeeper, is the oldest counterfeit in the record.
The test
Does it make you more disciplined, more loving, more truthful and more free — or more dependent, more superior and more afraid of missing the boat?
Misdiagnosis
Sleep paralysis · trauma · chemistry · illness
What the record actually says
Sleep paralysis with hallucinated presence, hypnagogic imagery, temporal-lobe activity, medication and substance effects, grief, exhaustion, and psychiatric conditions all produce experiences indistinguishable from contact and from possession, in enormous numbers, worldwide.
What it is
This entry is not a concession. It is a moral requirement. Attributing illness to possession, or trauma to abduction, is itself a form of spiritual harm — it withholds care from someone who needs it and dresses the withholding as faith.
Confused with
With everything above, constantly.
The test
Sleep, medical care and mental health treatment are spiritual seriousness, not weakness. Rule out the body before accusing the unseen.
The Two Guards
Every entry above exists to serve two sentences. If a reader leaves with nothing else, these are the two that matter.
Guard I
Do not worship what you meet
Advanced technology is not divinity. Longevity is not eternity. Telepathy is not omniscience. A being that crossed a distance is still a creature inside creation.
The ancient world's founding error was mistaking a ruler inside creation for the Source of creation, and every generation since has been offered the same trade.
The Most High creates. Everything else — however old, however luminous, however far it travelled — is created. Worship belongs to the Source alone, and the genuinely aligned will tell you so themselves.
Guard II
Do not condemn what you do not recognize
Strangeness is not evil. An insect face is not a demonic face. Scales are not a verdict. Grey skin is not a soul.
A being is measured by what it does with the power it has: does it respect your autonomy, or override it? Does it tell you the truth, or manage your perception? Does it protect the weak, or feed on the frightened? Does it point to the Most High, or to itself?
Akari judges alignment, never category — and that rule protects the good non-human being exactly as much as it convicts the predatory one.
Humanity is a young species in a populated creation, and it has spent most of its history making the same two mistakes: kneeling to what it should have questioned, and burning what it should have understood.
The canon is not here to make the sky less strange. It is here so that a person meeting something genuinely unknown has language ready — order, office, alignment, state — instead of only awe and terror.
Whatever arrives, the standard does not move. Worship the Most High. Judge by conduct. Refuse what asks for your will.
